Default Re: Also got Ezio Leap and a few others from UBI spring sale

Gotta admit not bad for a smaller vinyl, kinda even think I can hear the Eagle cry now every time I glance in that direction. Was definitely waiting for a leap-type figure as its one of my favorite parts of the games.

I'm wondering if the feet in anyone else's leap statue go into the base further than mine. This picture below shows as far as mine would go. From the front you really don't notice it and kind of makes it look like he is jumping away from the base...

As for a crowded field, I heard that... I need more display space for all the creed stuff (or to get rid of some of it)...

I picked up the Leap statue @ UBI shop site + since they had spring sale recently, I finally grabbed the vial and some other swag because it was half price or better...

Also the Coarse Ezio is something I've been thinking about getting for a long time but have held off because of price and because online looks a bit odd, but after getting the Mortal Kombat coarse edition last summer with the Scorpion figure and liking that a lot I was more open to it. This Ezio goes for crazy bucks on eBay but Ubi shop site has is 1/3 off + spring sale so I finally decided to check it out...

Anyway, not sure it's for everyone, but I actually really like it. ALso it is packed with class and presented in a very high end way...

Cheers, JC

I like that Coarse figure, I really do but I'm just mot seeing why the hefty price tag. Even at $299 it just looks like a $50 figure at best. I have the MK Coarse Scorpion, bought the MKX CE off Bestbuy a couple weeks back for like $60 bucks. The figure is pretty cool but despite the completely legit packaging it's not worth it imo.

That said, I'll ask again...if anyone in the UK wouldn't mind helping out your brothers across the pond I sure would like that "leap of faith" figure if they are still available and would certainly be willing to return the favor down the road.

Quick question...where did you get the Conner statue next to the Kenway McFarlane statue, I'm not familiar with that one or the crouching Altair statue infront of the Plague-doctor In-a-box?

The Connor that's on the tree branches? I'm sure that was available on the Ubisoft store, and the Crouching Altair is one of the Assassin's Creed holy grails. It goes for ridiculous amounts usually xx

Not the one on the tree branches, the Connor statue that is the same size and right next to the McFarlane Black Flag statue...he's about to axe a Red Coat. In the pucture it looks like he has a bottle of Crazy Glue sitting in front of it lol.

Also, who made the crouching Altair and what is it formally called so I can research it.

Evidently I am blind That is the beautiful PureArts statue

And the Crouching Altair is always known as exactly that, I believe. It says on the box "Altair Collectible Figure" but it's rather rare, especially with a box xx

Yes the Large Connor is the Pure Arts Connor Premium statue that was insanely difficult to get in the USA just because Purearts isn't allowed by UBI license to sell it directly to people in the USA. I had to have a relative in DE buy it and spin the roulette wheel on import taxes which ended up being OK. If you are outside the USA, you can just contact them directly and ask for it.

As for the crouched Altair, I got that many years ago with standing Altair (bonus was both boxes are signed by Patrice Désilets and Jade Raymond back when the statues were offered to employees after completion of the first game. It's kinda cool Patrice added the mention ''NIT;EIP'', which stands for ''Nothing is True; Everything is Permitted'' (the tagline for the game, but you probably knew that).

The hardest one to get was the Attakus Ezio which took some time and friends in the right places.

Cheers,

JC
