I have a great comparison for you before the smaller cheaper counterpart is even released. THERE IS NO COMPARISON. I am certain it will be exactly like comparing the Connor premium statue (also made by Pure Arts) which is very much like this huge Bayek statue to the smaller vinyl COnnor last breath statue that is sold on UBI's site for $75. I have both and if I.m right it will be smaller, less detailed and made out of vynil/plastic just like many of the other AC collectible 10"-15" statues (Jacob, Arno, Connor, Ezio, Edward, so on and so forth.) I can tell you that there is no comparison to these truly amazing HUGE polystone statues which are works of art.

I derive enjoyment every day from my creed collection but especially the few premium statues I own... Connor Premium by Pure Arts which is also HUGE, Edward by MCFarlane which is not quite as nice but still cool... Ezios Fury from way back and the grail of my collection which is Ezio by Attakus (on of only 20 artist proofs) that I was fortunate to come by a number of years ago. I placed a preorder for Jacob by Tri-force which is already over a year late and I'm sure that will be cool and now I was lucky enough to catch one of these Bayek Legendary statues by Purearts which in my opinion is on par with the Connor Pure arts one.

I don't know about the future of the game, but the games (even the bad ones) have brought me enjoyment and I share that with my kids so these statues remind me of that and that is why I spend $800 on the great ones. I hope the new game takes the AC brand back to where it was at with Ezio and Edward and I am excited to play it in October.

PS r/e unboxings of the legendary, there are already a million of them on YouTube, just search Legendary Bayek unboxing.

Cheers.

I think you misunderstood what I meant there. I did not mean it would not be much better then the cheaper one... just that I was curious to see the comparison (would be curious on the Connor one too).

You seem a bit too ready to zealously defend your purchase

Regret any misunderstanding and no defense necessary for internet comrades; that is reserved only for my wife when I have to explain $800CC charge!

In this forum, I just try to help others here with info from what I've seen directly as I myself have benefited countless times from great posters here for 5+ years in helping me make my purchase choices.

And because I have both the Connors and the Bayeks are Purearts too, I'm offering that impression. I have many vinyl creed statues that I enjoy very much (including some considered very valuable like the crouched Altair). However any of those as compared with the well made polystone statues are in a different league and in my own opinion well worth the extra $$ for any true Creed collector budget willing. This isn't a defense of purchase but rather an opinion and I have full respect for anyone not having that kind of $$$ to throw at a collector's statue as I myself have been in that situation (and may again some day be).

If you're still curious I'm happy to offer side by side comparisons pictures of both Connor statues from my collection (actually smaller one is my teenage Son's bought with own funds!). I am not sure if I have seen both connor statues shown side by side before and that might help you gauge what the two identical Bayeks will look like in comparison with each other.

Just let me know, otherwise cheers and best wishes as always...

JC

Worth noting though that the regular Bayek statue will be nearly 16 inches long. For comparison's sake, the Edward Kenway mcfarlane statue and Ezio's Fury are both around 14 inches. While Ezio attakus is 16.5 inches. So the regular Bayek statue will definitely be up there in terms of size if you compare it with the other large AC statues.

I actually noticed this too. As far as the scale of human figures go, Ezio's fury is the smallest figure of the premium statues. Even though the overall diorama is bigger with him jumping and all, Ezio's Fury figure itself is same approx. size as all the vinyl figures that typically ship with the Creed CE games (still polystone/better quality and detail though).

Attakus Ezio and McFarlane Edward figures appear about the same size and Premium Connor figure is definitely a notch bigger but not as evident because he is kneeling over his victim and the height of the statue comes mostly from his raised arm and tomahawk.

Legendary Bayek/Senu on the other hand are way taller because Bayek is in mid stride jumping with a super tall bow. I actually have the Prime 1 Arkham Batman and Legendary Bayek stands almost as tall as that massive statue. I think that Premium Connor and legendary Bayek are similar scale figures because the torsos and arms are about the same proportion and if premium Connor were standing I imagine he'd be around same stature as Legendary Bayek.

Cheers - JC

It would take some doing for me because many of mine are tucked into display cabinet, but perhaps someone else could do a photo representation of all of them lined up in front of one another). If enough people are interested to see and is not more convenient for anyone else, I'll arrange them all on a big table and photo them.

I would if I had all of they but I only have the vinyls (most of them) the Mcfarlane and Bayek. I didn't much care for Ezio's Fury (for the price) and I was unaware of the Attakus and Premium Connor until it was too late. That said the 16" Bayek is a good deal and on par size-wisewith the special edition Kenway figure (the one on the ship).

The recently released Aguilar Triforce statue is also 14 inches tall. Did any of you guys get it?

I somewhat enjoyed the movie but for me it isn't quite the same as the game characters and so I haven't really invested in AC movie memorabilia. As for the statue, Triforce was supposed to have been making a premium Aguilar that was marketed for something like $600 as a presales event with movie tickets and other swag through Kernel last year. This 14" statue is not that premium one although the pose is similar so not sure if anyone here spent that kind of money on the preorder or what happened to those premium Aguilar statues. Also on the same Kernel site you could spend $1,200 for one of 20 life size crossbow movie props and not sure what happened to those as I never saw anyone here buying any of the movie items. The Kernel site went offline after the movie was out.

Here is a link to a picture of the premium Aguilar...

Default Re: Comparison of big/small Connor Statues, might be similar for Bayek...

Above I was commenting on the two "last breath" Connor statues with identical pose and the differences between the more expensive limited "premium" Connor statue and the smaller vinyl Connor figure still available for sale. Because both of these Connor statues are produced by same company (Purearts) as the newly released Bayek statues, I expect that it would give a good idea of the difference to anyone wanting to know how the smaller vinyl Bayek shipping with "Dawn of the Creed" CE in October compares with the Huge Legendary Bayek statue shipped this month.

I have both Connor statues (smaller belonging to my son) so I tried to get some macro shots showing the size difference and some other closer views that highlight the differences in detail. Again, not saying the vinyl isn't cool but my opinion it's pretty clear what the extra $$$ buys in size and detail for the premium statues. Hope this is of value to people here...

I also bought the Legendary Bayek and comparing it to Premium Connor both figure appear to be same scale (Bayek is just much taller statue because his body is elongated in mid leap whereas Connor is crouched over his victim). Because of this, it might follow that the smaller Bayek will stack up in a similar way as the smaller Connor compares with the bigger Connor.

Cheers

JC

Good comparisons there...my only issue with the vinyl Connor is the faces, otherwise it's a great figure.
