The steelbooks for Saint Seiya are pretty rare too. There was one that only released in France and one that was exclusive to China.

Lots of the steelbook mentioned here are valuable but not rare, you can buy them.
Really rare are: G2 Homefront stickerbook Belgium and RE6 Thailand
G1 the Finnland and Saudi Arabia Steelbooks
And in future I think the Limited run steelbooks will become more expensive.

what is your definition of rare?

You can only buy all those steelbooks on ebay if those steelbooks are offered by someone which happens not that often.

That’s what I mean. If money isn’t the problem Mirrors Edge, Friday 13th or the ac G1 stickerbooks are not rare, you can buy them today on eBay.
Rare = expensive and very hard to find. I have more than 400 steelbooks but the two G2 steelbooks / stickerbooks I mentioned... it’s so hard to find them for sale..

I think the LRG steelbooks will be rare, but not highly sought after since they're for games that not many people have played or even heard of lol.

Again, really depends on your definition of rare/valuable. To me, the less copies that were produced, the more valuable it is. The Panzerhound edition of Wolfenstein was limited to 5,000 copies only. Most other CE's I'd wager are 10x that quantity.

I'd be interested to see someone with a list of exactly how many steels of each of there were actually released. I think that until someone has that info, you can't really go by what's most valuable (unless you're only looking at what's valuable at this moment in time, which IMO is a terrible way to measure it)

I agree.
Even with well known games, sometimes the steelbook is so obscure that most people dont even know about it.

You have the example of Dishonored Italian G1 Steelbook.
Only 1000 of thus, they are very unsual to show up to sell anywhere, but since most people dont know about it, its value never reached crazy values like Mirror's Edge, for example.

But there was a german version of that steelbook released too.

The only difference of the artwort is that the title of the game is printed in german on the front maybe that is the reason why the steelbook was never sold for a such a high price like the Mirror's Edge Steelbook.
