i wish they would of gone all out!!! with a fully decorated and colored console in blue..like they did the red one for the newest latest release console variant release..the "Mario edition"..Switch console!..i bet a blue colored console matching these joy cons would have been a thing of beauty!

Well, they are already releasing two special edition consoles this year: Mario Red & Blue and Monster Hunter Rise. Perhaps they thouhgt a third would be a little too much.

Monster Hunter Rise is very niche in Western Countries..a Zelda themed one would of sold like hot cakes in the PAL/NTSC regions..i really do enjoy the new "MARIO" red edition..i hope to pick it up one day..but i am disappointed as a collector in the console box design.it's just a generic box..i wish it would of had been plastered with the 35th anniversary logo's and Mario related characters..kinda like the console box designs for the 25th anniversary red Mario Wii edition consoles..those had commemorative artwork on the console packaging..the curret Red "Mario" switch box art design?..it's a big let down! from a Nintendo collector's point of view!
