this is'nt right, rockstar games, well at least the local gamestop stores, were hyping this up, as an very limited run, and after the 1/15/12 cut off, that's it..and it's gonna be very difficult to come by after the fact, so now we can all see, at least in north america, there really is'nt a cut off date, so most likely thousands more will be sold right up to release date, and probably thousands more will flood the market, after the fact, since this is no longer as limited as stated and intended, i am going to CANCEL my pre-order..because why should i pay $100 now?..when we know these will be still sitting on shelves after spring into summer for around $50,...if the pre-orders all of a sudden dissappeared on 1/15/12..then okay, totally worth it in my book..because it would have the appearance of being genuinely limited...well not anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....whose with me!!??..hahaha

Either way, they lied. I'm also considering cancelling mine, but probably won't do it until the week leading up to release (if it's still available to order then, of course). It's bad enough that developers seem to use the title "limited edition" willy-nilly, never mind pulling a stunt like this!

...hi, just to add, it's available at just about all the major e-tailers, which in my experience means tens of thousands will be made if not more. Just another CE aimed at milking the industry, having said that, I haven't cancelled yet lol.

I think it was only announced today. Or at least that's when I first heard about it anyway, lol.

Another announcement - this time actually regarding the SE... "The deadline for pre-ordering the Max Payne 3 Special Edition has been extended to April 2nd"

And well, since it was delayed it gives me hope that we'll see some retailer somewhere offering it a pre-order bonus or something.
