Just showing my crystal edition from FFXIII-2 and the steelbook pre-order:

Sorry, Lightning00, it's just the way it is. Though you don't really need to use the DLC codes, the game should be great with or without it

@OniRyo: Very nice, I like your floor too

Thanks, it's a limited edition floor, i just placed it on the floor because there is hardly any space in my room to actually show it for good(lots of statues, games, collector's editions etc).

DLC tends to be region/disc specific so be careful. Uncharted for example is disc specific despite UK and AU being PAL (promos can also be different!)

One thing I also liked about this Crystal Edition was the tray. I liked the feather debossing (?) on the tray. Everything bar the artbook was nicely made (could argue about OST but that was still decent for a digipak). I strongly believe artbooks shouldn't be included unless it's shown off in a larger format, well binded book. Alas, each title has a budget allocated...

That steelbook looks totally out of place next to my other games with it being that wee bit bigger. Did game and gamestation only get the one size in?

I'd agree with you with the art book, and yes, that is a neat touch with the embossed tray [though a smokey tint of light pink would've been the cherry on top]

Ok, so if you want to purchase DLC, you may be better off playing on an NTSC disc because there story DLC coming in the near future! Unless you wait for a Platinum/GOTY/Ultimate Edition at the end of the year

Does anyone know whether the Crystal Edition contains everything the lower tier Limited Edition contains? Or do they both have different contents?

I know sometimes publishers tier their CE's (like with the Black Ops and MW2 releases), but other publishers don't (as was the case with Gran Turismo 5)

The only difference is the soundtrack, in the crystal edition comes complete in 4 cds, the limited have just like the best songs in one cd.
