Dean said NECA will release 5000 units worldwide, only 300 for Australia and I'm sure Europe will get 1000+ units as well

Hopefully! I wonder if the price will be jacked up for UK if they do come here, they never convert the price to pounds, usually just change the currency symbol and keep the same number - grr xx

The Japan units are priced at ¥16,000 which converts to just over AU$193. So, UK will probably translate to something around that equivalent in pounds?!

5000 units world wide and it hasn't even been officially announced for the US yet?? Though I've read the price for the US will be around US$170.

Just wait a few more days, it should then be announced for Europe and Asia

Vhal, if you really want to know, check the prices for the gears lancer. Made by the same people. We paid 128, and america 100 (?)

@Dean Yeah, I pre-ordered one today [yesterday]. It's not all sold out in Melbourne, the smaller Gametraders will still have some this weekend but I'm guessing not for long! [That's no cake!]

Wasnt the GOW lancer £69.99 at play?, for once i think there conversion was correct with that one

I have asked my contact in japan for these, he may be able to get some but shipping will be exponential, will wait to see if they come to UK as well

How much does a sealed NTSC Mass Effect 2 CE go for these days? (Not eBay prices...lol.)

And also, is there any point in buying a second copy of the ME3 CE, to be kept sealed?
I suspect that the production numbers are high on this one...

What do you all think?

I would't accept anything below $150 for a mint, sealed ME 2 CE (NTSC)
I'm sure people will want to pay between $100 and $150; but again, I would hold firm at $150. That's just me though.
If you put it on the market for $200, you might get that much, but it might take a little time to get the $200.

And to be sure, I'm not just quoting random prices out of thin air. I've been following this game's after-market activity for quite some time now; and prices have been sitting between that $100 and $200 range. Not too long ago, there was a seller that flooded the market with new, old stock of these CEs and prices dipped below $100 for a while.
