Lost interest in Diablo 3 when Blizzard decided to screw it up for legitimate customers and PC Gamers. The requirement to be online to play the game Single player and the no mods bullshit has put me right off.Bring on Torchlight 2. That said i'll probably end up buying the CE for resale if its limited enough.

It's too bad so many of the dungeon crawler games are cartoony in look. I love the original Diablo series for its gothic "realism".

But aren't you online almost 24/7 as well? Eventually there will be mods don't worry. Same as SC2 their map editor came later than the game. If they want to retain the glory of D2 then they HAVE to allow mods sometime later. D2 had epic mods

My internet is very temperamental and drops out a number of times during a day and its a pain when i go travelling with my laptop and don't have access to the internet. Also i don't see how their will be an official SDK when Blizzard have prohibited mods in their T&Cs.

"For a variety of gameplay and security reasons, we will not be supporting bots or mods in Diablo III, and they’ll be expressly prohibited by our terms of use for the game."

True it can cause problem from bad internet. Maybe in the future if the market for offline play is too big they will allow it but maybe restrict the character to offline play only?

Can't blame them too much since one of the major problem on D2 was duping item and selling it for cash.

I've seen plenty of companies breaking their own rule for greater reason, probably charging extra for official SDK? It's always about money.

Its simple really...... Have ranked servers with your always online requirment, your real money auction house, no mods and any other crap blizzard want to screw the game up with and then have unranked gamemode where anything goes. Blizzard just want to milk the stupid real money auction house.

I'm confused what the argument for buying this game is. If i pirate it, i can use whatever unofficial mods/tools etc i want, play wherever i want, whenever i want and i can still play MP with friends over private servers or hamachi. Its great when developers make illegally obtained versions of games superior to legit versions.....

Yeah lol, sometimes pirated versions are so awesome I just go pirate anyway. Well the real money auction house gonna be a big hit since people will be grinding for money.
