It would be a nice change of perspective if there is a Universal CE. But from the look of it. It won't. Now i just hope the US gets a better Collector's Edition this time around in all seriousness. Based on previous past CE, it's pure silly compare to what the European have gotten.

I'd say that US gets better AC CE's than we do... The jack in the box's were so awesome compared to the Codez edition.

Yes, the codex edition was nice, but it was simply a plastic box with a book in it and some discs and other stuff, whereas the jack in the boxes were something different and cool - albeit could've come with a couple more bits in the box xx

I would hazard a guess that since this is set in the American Revolution that the US will probably be on the cards for a top of the line collectors edition unavailable in other countries. Even then the US may still get more than one version like what happened with the jack in the box. It would nice & easier to have something universal but,thats what kinda makes collecting interesting(& sometimes a pain in the but),nobody has the same thing

Yeah that's what I think Hippeedude, it's the hunt for the editions that makes collecting so interesting, and the fact of knowing that if you have a CE from another country, not mny other people near you are gonna have it xx

i know the feeling, it's the thrill of the hunt if you're a die-hard fan. I rarely double dip. I could use some of my money for related merchandises. I rather whole-heartely would own any one(or all) of European's Collector's Editions if given an opportunity. Starting with AC1/AC2 Black, envy enough to kill--LOL, i'm joking don't take it literally. Mind blowing how much those are fetching for.

Basically, for once i like to see a franchise like Assassin's Creed do justice for the NA's market. Making up for those poor "collector's editions". I don't know, it's Ubisoft's call.

Personally i would just do it if you have the spare cash. If you dont you may regret it then try to find one & find they are all double the price. Even here in AU theres people now trying to sell copies for double the original retail price. I was just lucky enough to find one in eb games at retail

FWIW, this was the gamestop promo box, maybe the edition may look like this?
