Looks like Freedom is "day one" edition and Join or Die is the "price drop" edition.
Now if only amazon stocks the former I will be so happy I'm gonna shoot rainbows.

I'm sorry, but you can only either get it from Ubisoft or Gamestop.UK for the English edition.


So, will Italy get a AC symbol medallion instead as opposed to the coin/circular medallion for the 'Join or Die' edition?

How do you know? Does it state so on ubi.com? I can't see since I'm outside UK. But then, so are you, right?

Also, Animus Edition was £70, gamestop wants £90 for AC3 best edition, not really as "cheap".

I'm saying this is relatively cheap for us in AU because it's $130...which is how much Animus was retailing for here.
I noticed that it's £90 for the UK, which is shocking...even the 'Join or Die' edition £58 is really bad!
I have a feeling that AU will somehow also get the Italian Medallion as well one way or another?!?

Oh, no, no. It doesn't matter from where I would be linked to Ubi store, be it Australia, USA or Germany etc. it will just automatically check my IP and redirect me to the local site.

But on a second thought, if it's £90 in UK, maybe I'm better off buying it "locally" (they import it from somewhere anyway). It's here for £80 plus £10 shipping and the only difference will probably be the subtitles

You just need to change 'portals' to have a peek through other territories, it looks like most of the European Ubisoft sites are now updated as well.

It's also apparent that Gamestop UK have hiked up the price by £10 against the Ubisoft price! [they may readjust this absurd price accordingly]

On the Ubisoft page, hover your cursor over the Ubisoft tab on the top left hand corner, then click on ubi.com portal, after the page changes, hover over the top right hand side corner tab [indicating the country code], choose whichever EU country you want.

Or...on the web address where is says the following; http: //www. ubi. com/ AU/

I just replace 'AU' with either UK or US

iIf you paid $130 in AU you got stung,EB games was selling them for $108,which is what i paid for mine. I rang EB games today to check they upgraded my version to the freedom edition & was told its going to be in very limited numbers here in AU,all other versions will be a bit more common.
Nice to have a meadallion,but i can imagine you will able to get those by themselves soon enough. Also,if you think about it,its 7 months to go till release so who knows what other versions,collectables etc are on the cards yet
