Does it have a box or anything to say it is a full press kit, other than just the paper and discs? Like, the console I mean, or is it exactly the same as a standard console? xx

Think he said it looks like a console but, it isn't...

Probably just a plastic shell?

It's made somewhat like a PS2 (similar material). If you recall, the PS2 had 2 "layers" to it, the disc area and then the bottom "sink", if you like. The kit is the top disc layer. You pull a tab from behind that also forces the tray to open revealing 2 discs and the booklet. It's pretty well built. The discs and booklet are labelled "Press Disc".

Basically, at quick glance you'll think it's a PS2 console but it's not. It's essentially a modified shell with a tucked away tab to pull at to release the discs/booklet.

Ah cool, that seems pretty awesome - for what it's worth though, I'm completely clueless, but I sure as hell wouldn't mind one of those, have it on display and use it as a talking point xx

Sonic Generations Collectors Edition UK version (Fully in english, bbfc). Completely sealed with no tears, dengs, dents whatsoever. I am thinking of grading this if its worth it. Also were there only 500 of these released for the UK?

Cheers

Yeah, it looks pretty amazing.

No idea what it's worth though.

Would have loved to have one back in the day, say someone came to my house and said "Lets play PS2?"......I'd be like "What you on about that's a press kit, IDIOT". =)

Hmm...I had purchased it from Amazon for £100, considering that its pretty sold out had hoped the value would go up, atleast for a 10/10 mint version

Well the original price was around £75 for that edition, so it has gone up...the price has fallen back a bit from what it was achieving, after the initial sell out prices were as much as £150+
