For anyone getting the Radnet edition, having a nose at the ones in work. The PS3 edition is fully sealed, but on the Xbox version, only the game is, not the sleeve. Looks like the entire first batch is the Radnet edition as well.

The Blackwatch Edition is another one of those bigger-than-it-needs-to-be cardboard clamshell boxes, similar to the MW3 Hardened Edition, albeit not as big. It also has a vertical cardboard slipcover over the top

HMV rather stupidly shipped mine wrapped in one layer of bubblewrap anda grey plastic bin bag, via Yodel. Again. Needless to say, it arrived with every single corner dented as well as side dents. So disappointed right now

Ironically, GAME have since gotten stock in, so I could have kept my original order and they would've shipped in a suitable box. FML!

It is a similar box in general, but not nearly that big. I completely agree with the comments regarding MW3, but I think this one is just fine (and a nice CE as well).

Yeah I agree with you. MW3 was far too big but I think this one is just right.

It's pretty disappointing that the retailers still can't get the packaging right for these things. People have been reporting GAME shipping in boxes too small, whereas HMV simply wrapped one sheet of bubblewrap around it and put in a grey plastic bin bag. You'd think that if they're going to sell these items, they'd have adequate packaging to do so...

I also don't see why we should be expected to make-do with what we receive. Such items are intended primarily for the collector demographic, and their condition upon receiving them should be suitable for a collector. What collector would gladly accept a £60-£70 CE which is dented? If I'm paying that kind of money for a single item, I expect it to be in the best possible condition it could be!

That's another thing. Amazon. Why the fuck should you have to pay extra to receive the item on release day? They have their stock weeks in advance, so why can they not send all pre-orders out in good time to arrive on release day? Why should this be an additional service? What is the point in pre-ordering an item months in advance only to have to wait for them to deliver it late, or be forced to pay extra to have it on release?

I know, especially as it's a relatively new shitty thing that they've implemented. If I click to receive on release day, they ship it a few days before, maybe between 4 and 7 days before (depending if there is a weekend in the middle) whereas if you don't pay for fast shipping, they ship on the day before release!

Which is obviously so they are intentionally not gonna get it to you on release And they no doubt use the same shipping method so it's not costing them any more to get it to you on release, they just ship it a bit earlier xx
