Welcome to this new thread Dedicated to the Gaming PC.
I haven't seen any pictures, from the pc gamers among us, of their gaming platform of choice. therefore i think its about time we had a place for some comparing and a little healthy bragging. Skill 2133Mhz Video card(s): 2X PNY XLR8 Liquid cooled GTX 580 HDD(s): 3X 1.5 TB 1X 160GB Power Supply: Tagen BZ1100 Case: Xaser VI Super Tower Monitor(s): Samsung 24" 1920X1200 , BenQ 24" 1920X1200 Extra Bits: Rocket Raid 2300 Raid Card, Creative Xfi Extreme Sound Card Total Cost: Absolutely no idea, I've been swapping parts out of this thing for Years. so rough ballpark $4000 AUD |

Awesome Rigs, I can't believe that that would cost 4 grand now a days

My Gaming/Work computer. It is going on 4 years old now, but I have upgraded bits of it along the way to suit my needs.

Large clusters of virtual machines for my work. I have VMs for every enterprise DB on the market that I used to use for testing my applications along with the million versions of the product configured for various clusters.
Alas, 24GB is not enough for what I currently work on, so it is all going to waste now.

If you are doing virtualization I can see why you need that level of ram,
LOL even 24Gb is not enough. maybe set some of the ram as data for windows to use when loaded. |

I am, shall we say new at this pc gaming business, and when I say new I mean I've had it less than a week.
My pc is a baby compared to your lots, but its a start for now. Mother board:ASUS F1A55-M LE CPU: AMD A6-3670K RAM:4GB 1333MHZ GRAPHICS CARD:1GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GT 440 HDD:1TB PSU:450 W (not sure on model) CASE: PCS Maelstrom t900 MONITOR I just use my house tv's at the moment Like I said just a baby for now but its a start, will try and post pics later in the week |
