I'm technically paying £35 more for the extra bits - it's debatable as to their value until I have it in my hands (and have played the game) - but if I love the game then it's worth every penny.

It is a shame it's not also a steelbook tho...in fact are any R* games steelbooks?
^ THIS!

This is exactly how I view things when I am buying CEs. When you're technically gonna be spending £40-£50 on a standard copy of most games, an extra £10-50 isn't that much when you look at the extra contents you'll be receiving.

And also yeah, I wish steelbooks were standard in CEs, and also that all of the top tier CEs (where there is no CE better than it for that particular game) are numbered. That would be awesome xx

I must admit that the videos I've seen have left me a little underwhelmed, but like I said - if I love the game I'd only be trying to track it down.

The main issue I have with this game is that I've had to buy 3 versions to get all the pre-order & collectable goodness...it better be a good game!!

Im not saying its bad, just that other £100 CE's have a lot more plus this appears to have been over produced and likely to drop in price

Not sure about the rest of the world, but in Australia most retailers are no longer taking pre-orders for this. EB says they still have a very limited amount of stock available, only only, but that's it.

Even if it's not limited, who cares? Most CE's are rarely limited and most of them are still around after release and drop in price. Like regular games, if you want it on release, you pay the full price. If you're willing to wait to save some cash, or if you're a cheap skate, then you wait for it to drop in price (if it's still around).

I'm torn - just watched the unboxing vids and starting reading a few 'no-so-positive' reviews.

I think numbers wise, you have to remember it's pre-order only - technically the numbers shouls be fairly restricted depending how many folk/shops have pre-ordered a load.

Argh. Expensive month, I think I might take my chances after the MGS HD fiasco.

Does anyone want a PS3 copy for £80inc before I cancel?

i tend to ignore all unboxing videos and so called reviews - at the end of the day all that matters is my opinion of the item, if i think it is good or not - nothing good can come from reviews and unboxing all that happens is you start believing these people's views and opinions as fact and assure yourself it is going to be crap or that you don't want it anymore - all before you even have it in your hands!

In my defence I tend to pick up on trends in reviews and from those get a good idea if I'll like or hate a game. For example, I didn't think I'd like Red Dead Redemption (don't like GTA or Westerns) but I love the game - thanks largely to the reviews and picking up on bit's here and there.

Likewise watching the unboxings (with sound off) I get a good feel for it I'll like something...I love the look of the bullet, but the figure looks a bit cheap and too plastic TBH. I could split and sell what I don't want but I doubt I'd get ~£30 for the figure

Anyway it's been sent now so looks like I have no option lol

just picked it up now, will toss up a photo unboxing soon, looks good, however, the CE does not come sealed.

On a side note, my local gamestop is selling darkness II limited edition, brand new for $20 on sale, not too bad hey?

also, over here, in NA, it costs $100 which is massively cheaper than the 100quid you cats in the UK/EU are paying... basically, $30 - $40 for all these extras? Count me in
