Not to clued up on comics, but a promo comic in a magazine doesn't sound like much tbh.

Is 45€ a decent price for a sealed Fear 3 Collectors Edition (XBOX360; PEGI Version)?

I know but I want it for the Xbox plus most of the marketplace sellers aren'shipping to Austria. So u think I should wait for it to get it cheaper?

oops, sorry missed the Xbox 360 part.

Yeah it's a problem getting this edition from overseas.

If that is a delivered price to you, then I would say that is a good price.

It´s me again. My ex-girlfriends brother offered me Promotional Versions of some games for the XBOX360:

Beautiful Katamari
Call of Juarez BiB
Iron Man
und Sherlock Holmes (sealed)

Is it actually worth buying Promos? Respectively, what are the values of these Promos?

Promos generally aren't worth much (if any) more than a standard copy. Basically, they're worth what someone will pay for them, so you may have more luck selling a promo copy of Uncharted before you would of Iron Man. They're uncommon and cool, but they aren't especially pricey. Sometimes they go on eBay for a fraction of what a complete standard copy goes for, and sometimes a fair bit more. It's all comes down to someone really wanting it or not.

There is a market for them among some collectors though, so if you can pick them up for cheap (around or less than a standard copy) you can't really go wrong. Just don't expect to pay what a standard copy is worth for them and and double your money. Odds are that won't happen.

It's exactly as Idiotekque said, for most games the original first press games sealed are gong to be worth more.

The exception being rarer games, but they will always most often be worth less than the normal copy. Metal Gear solid 3 Subsistence is a prime example. If you can get promo copies for a relatively small amount and sealed then I would say it's a good bet the value will increase.

They sometimes released promo for games, which eventually get cancelled and those are worth a considerable amount.

Thanks for posting this. I was actually the buyer if that item, but I have since requested the sale to be canceled to which the seller agreed, and had my money refunded. Was the first sealed MGS4 pal copy I'd seen so I jumped on it, not knowing that games can be resealed in the way you mentioned. Kinda makes it pointless buying 'sealed' games off ebay, as there is a good chance it's not sealed then.
