Well its the standard $5.99 but thats not the final cost, nor is the $6.48. To my knowledge ( i could be wrong) this will fall under the "Additional shipping and handling charges apply to media items of unusual size or weight" category and will have its own special amount to be charged once they know the dimensions and weight of the item.

It'll be fine, what they show at the check out is the final balance when it is shipped/handled by amazon.com. They don't have hidden cost like amazon.de can at times. Or unless amazon.com have drastically under-estimated the gross weight of the product, which would be a rare occurrence.

just answered question 4. May 2012, Disney announced that The Avengers is scheduled to be released on Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D and DVD on September 25, 2012. Features will include an audio commentary by Joss Whedon, deleted scenes, featurettes, Disney Second Screen, Soundgarden's "Live to Rise" music video and the Marvel One-Shots short film "Item 47

Disney piss me off with their 3D Blu-Ray crap. All of their 3D Blu-Ray releases are "Limited Edition" and only available for a limited time only. If 3D is the next best thing in films, then why the hell do they release them for a limited time only? They're practically implying that 3D is just a fad and it'll soon wear out and disappear just like HD-Dvd or Mini Disc formats...

Would be great to own those movies on bluray and totally on 3D a few of them, i'm just going to wait for it to release in the UK or in the Netherlands, i don't want to miss out on the dutch subtitles on each movie(i can follow English subtitles easy but other people mostly around here can't).
