a ?24 import fee bill came in the post today for walking dead season 2 collectors edition

in good news got a cmpare the meerkat sergei of ebay for ?24, okay i am to old but i really wanted one, simples.

ordered early september pforce have had it at their depo for a few days and got the letter today, i chose the cheapest shipping as i was in no rush for it to come, the vat imort fee worked out the same as the mid level amazon.com shipping/custom fee, but they also chuck a clearence fee of ?10.50 on as well.
so in the futre i think i will always use mid level shipping from amazon.com

had it preordered since 26th March :/ I also chose the cheap shipping. I'm gonna end up being whacked with that ?24 fee then too. Shite. Really don't have ?24 to spare

no, i dint think that was an opption at amazon.com? i thought they declared the cost whatever? i stupodly thought import fee was relevant to delivery speed i.e processing channels so no rush i chose basic thinking no more fees, t has worked out to ?72 in total now, wich is not great as they are on ebay from uk sellers ?68 free shipping, but i dont mind as i feel the product has a fair asking price.

what gets me is you get no tracking on basic at all, so i heard nothing until the import fee letter came through the door today.

Yeah, before you get to the final page, on the one where you choose your payment method? There will be a box saying "sending a gift? tick this box to see gift options before checkout" and if you tick it, it won't print the price on the package

Ah, hopefully mine doesn't get customs charges then. Since they won't know the value unless they open it, and then search the item (since they don't even print the price inside the package) xx

ah will keep that in mind, live and learn i suppose, shipped 5th of september and although i dont yet have the delivery i am 99percent sure it is that as it is the only item i got on the way that is from outside the uk, my only other 2 orders i am waiting for are from game and shopto.
