I guess it's not an actual art print but it would annoy me a little if I had paid a lot for one of the prints

If you read the letter it does not say that the image will not be used many where else
Just that they will not sell the print or re print it
It was expected that it would turn up in other places as it is an essential piece of the Connor artwork

Yeah after I posted that I looked up the letter and realized my mistake

It is an important concept art, I suppose

So is there a larger version of that art somewhere in the art book then?

Yes there is, with a subtitle under it saying "Connor in an outfit displaying several Native American flourishes, albeit one that remains unmistakably Assassin".
