I find it strange that there are steels that are super plain on the outside but beautiful on the inside

Examples that spring to mind are brink and the UK battlefield steel

Everyone is indeed entitled to their own opinions

The picture I gave of the inside of the brink steel doesn't really do it justice as it has a very nice shine to it.

As for the battlefield steel, just look at the futureshop version




Same image as the inside art of the UK version but flipped
