The Uncharted 3 Press Kit Scam

I am sorry if this sounds stupid but I believe sellers are scamming people for something that isn't even a press kit at all.

People have been selling this

This IS NOT a press kit.. that is the Uncharted 3 Special Edition that came with a plastic outer slip case(but minus the slipcase) and just the promo disc which iv seen a number of sellers put together to "make up" and con people in believing that it is a press kit.

you are correct! there was never a proper press kit for U3.

I believe Italy had a press pack with those items along with a bag, a brown leather journal and other goodies.

Just seems weird that UK sellers have been selling it and its identical to the UK Special Edition.. trying to make extra cash out of something which doesn't even exist -.-

I think this has been covered a few times before on here. I think it was actually given out to people as a PK, with the promo disc included, but there always seems to be listings on ebay, so no doubt people have "made" them themselves aswell xx

the seller is a member on here, its neither here nor there to be honest, no one knows if this was the set given to the press, and people have self responsability to do their own research and decide if it is worth it

Thats legitimate. The case has the hitman barcode on the outside. Although I' peronsally describe it as more of a promo item as opposed to a PK. The Uncharted 3 was sent to the press (I've had it confirmed by a PK contact) but again most are just made by the sellers using a promo which go for about ?8-15 and the special edition about ?20-30 so it's much cheaper to make your own if you really want this for your collection.

I wasn't planning on buying it at the end of the day, i just thought it was fishy.. imho its not a press kit..
