I would say it's all down to personal preference. Maybe some people believe a lower number would be more in demand than another, especially #1. Maybe some believe a lower number means it will be more valuable? Personally, I don't intend to ever sell mine, so it really makes no difference to me whether I get a low number or high number - At the end of the day, they're still limited to 1 of 200

But like you say, some people have a personal attachment to certain numbers. For example, someone who suffers from triskaidekaphobia may specifically want to avoid a certain number, whereas someone else may prefer a number they feel brings them luck
