Tips for finding old Nintendo collectibles (Pre-Video Game era)
I've been doing a bit of googling and I can't find a good answer to this question.
In short, I'd like to start collecting Nintendo artifacts from before they became a video gaming company. Many of you might be aware that before the late-70's, Nintendo made card games and knick-knacks. Most notably (for us americans) they worked with the Disney company and have printed playing cards with Disney characters, some time in the 60's and 70's, I believe. About 10 years ago, I purchased a roulette game from the 60's that was manufactured by Nintendo. I'd love to find similar items and start collecting them, however, these items are rather hard to find on eBay. I know this appears to be a video game, collector's edition forum but I can't find a place, any where, were a community exist that helps each other buy and sell these old, pre-gaming era, Nintendo goodies. Does anyone know where I might find these types of collectibles? Any tips would be helpful. Thank you! |
