Default Share your Horror Stories of things that were damaged during shipment

I'm sure we've all been in a situation where we received something that was damaged during shipping... I had this happen to me just yesterday so I figured we should have a thread where we vent about what happened.

RULES:
1. You must post a picture of the damage
2. you must include which store or which seller you purchased it from
3. you must include what the outcome was (did the seller make good? did insurance cover it? or were you stuck with it? did you even make an attempt to resolve it?)

Item: Grand Theft Auto IV Special Edition
Bought from: ebay (quantumvikingdj) http://www.ebay.com/itm/230655342672...84.m1439.l2649
Shipped by: USPS Flat Rate

I bought this because I wanted the alternate cover art to compliment my Xbox 360 SE... I paid a little more for this one than other auctions because it looked to be in better condition. I was pretty shocked that there would be such severe damage to the front of the box. It wasn't packed the best but the box didn't have any punctures in it so it's pretty impossible that this would have happened during shipping.

I sent a message to the seller last night but haven't yet received a response.

Item: Witch Blade Collector's box
Bought from: Amazon.com
Shipped by: USPS First Class

In addition to games I buy Anime Box sets, This was bought brand new and as you can see arrived in pretty rough shape... I they refunded my money but I still had to pay for return shipping

I re-bought this through rightstuf.com and was very happy... FWIW rightstuf.com uses their own design shipping boxes that are, without question, better designed than any shipping box I've seen of any seller. Basically its a box and inside the media is suspended by additional cardboard "loops". this prevents the item from shifting around and gives a good 2" buffer on all sides. all game/movie sellers should use this box design but rightstuf is the only place I know that does.
