Default Re: Assassin's Creed Syndicate Charing Cross Edition, Rooks Edition & Big Ben Collect

If manufacturing costs were a criteria for me I'd pass on all CEs.

My criteria is related more to pleasure, collectibility, meaning and scarcity.

Big Ben is the more limited and complete collectible considering it's only available in certain parts of the world and has numbered lithographs.

Seems like the better collectible to me.

It has a better chance to hold or increase in value on the aftermarket.

Therefore, whilst I know it's somewhat expensive, I'm not losing money should I decide to sell it down the line.
It becomes a pleasurable investment of sorts.

That's where my focus would be rather than breaking down manufacturing costs.

But that's just me.
Will I enjoy it?
Will it hold or increase in value?
Will it feel like a desirable limited CE?
What's the significance of the extra pieces? E.g. I'm interested in the the role of Big Ben in the game and hence the significance as a statue.
Stuff like that....

Charging Cross is available in the States and Worldwide and lacks the numbered lithographs. It's everywhere. It's ultimately 2nd best in the CE line up no matter how you try to rationalize it.

But we l have our own criteria for limited collectibles. So if you like Charing Cross and it meets your criteria, get it!
If you think Big Ben is a con, don't get it.
But I think the differences are significant enough to warrant some of us choosing Big Ben.
