I wish we had a better alert system on this site - something or someone who could actively post on a social media forum or an rss feed or something that we could easily trace/track as an "alert" or "announcement" (rather than a post) so we could all be notified about things like this. If its anything like the US version it'll sell out fast. It always saddens me that many other sites find out long before we do on here and our twitter feed etc. is always so slow, never mind the database updates.

Guess that's just part of having a smaller body of users though. And I'm not slinging mud at anyone here - I know we all do the best we can for the community, and I appreciate all that you all do. But if anyone has any inclination (or time) feel free to set something up in wechat or one of those apps -- would be a good way to get alerts for things like this.
