it's still up for preorder as of late night 1/29/13 US time..i think it's gonna be up for awhile...gamestop and naughtydog want to cash in as much as possible..NO WAY is at the very least gamestop going to refuse sales if they have a say in it, so extremely limited could mean 25% of regular production...if they were TRUELY EXTREMELY LIMITED and GAMESTOP WANTED TO KEEP THERE WORD ALONG WITH NAUGHTY DOG...they would have been individually NUMBERED.

I'm getting one for sure, but my gut's already telling me this thing isn't gonna be anything special. Mass production is all this thing screams to me. We'll see what happens though. For now, I'm done with this edition.

Well I just confirmed from my source that the reason why it's up again online is because some people order were canceled for improper information and for exceeding the limit. They want to make sure that not one individual can get duplicated to cash in, they want to make sure that other individuals have a chance on purchasing. I am still waiting for a response on if these will be numbered in any way and if the production number they have me is accurate. Is only online that's available not in store.
So if you purchased multiple, expect to get your order canceled.

Do you know how much of a say Naughtydog has in making these decisions?

In my limited experience, the publisher / developer whatever makes x number of copies for the retailer then retailer has control over the stock

Don't think gamestop would give a damn if ppl bought to resell

Unless ND had an agreement with Gamestop to limit the orders when they agreed to have it be a Gamestop exclusive

You hit it right in the nail. That's another reason why because it's GameStop exclusive and there are about 4000 stores worldwide.

4400 Gamestops in the US about 6000 stores or so worldwide

Just to make it clear, if you order more than 1 in store its not going to get cancelled?
