Should be fine. The game seems to have a pretty varied requirements. You won't need a super PC to enjoy it surprisingly. Benchmark on my laptop was okay for mid range. You really do benefit with the smoother shadows and all, though.

Game sounds like it's come a long way from 1.0. Problem is I really didn't like XI and yet I'm still going to give this a shot for a month or two. The fact they are charging is also a bit off putting in 2013 but oh well.

Yep thats there idea charge a monthly fee or shut the game down. No MMORPG other then final fantasy 11 thus far from square-enix has even been successfull.

Depends on if they actually improved on it from the original launch as it was pretty much one of the worst square-enix games ever made. Also it sounds like they really have made it a lot better but that only if a bunch of crap from World of Warcraft is your thing.
