OUYA Released Today, What do people think?

I was one of the original Kickstarter backers for the OUYA $99 console.

I ordered a Limited Edition console with 4 limited edition controllers. I was hoping to do an unboxing/preview of the console before release but sadly I haven't received mine yet

I placed my pledge on the very first day of the Kickstarter (July 10th) and my delivery supposedly wont come until July 12th.

Anyway I was wondering if anyone else on here got one, or if there is anyone who might still be interested in me doing an unboxing of the Limited Edition.

To be perfectly honest, while the limited edition unboxing sounds interesting, I'd be more interested to hear what you think of the console and gaming on it.

What are the big games on it? I.E. I believe it's indie mostly right? But certainly there's one or two games that stand out more than the rest

Same here Mike ,I backed from day one ,A limited edition one with 2 controllers.I have been told it may be up to another 2 weeks before mine arrives in the UK.

It's got Final Fantasy 3, what more does a person need

I'm quite interested in one so would like to see the unboxing

Alright... well my estimated delivery is not for another 2 weeks... I'll definitely post up my impressions once I get it in.

I'm mostly interested in it to replace my old modded Xbox running Xbox Media Center... since it can't stream HD video, it uses component instead of HDMI and has wired controllers... Theoretically the OUYA can do all of those things, any good games that come out for it will just be icing on the cake.

I agree Polarity does sound good, I'll be sure to check that out.

I'm also curious if we'll be getting other Moble only games. I was pissed that Deus Ex: The Fall was going to be iOS and Android exclusive, but I'd be ok if I can play it on Ouya.

there are quite a few of these coming out now...

we have Ouya, GameStick, nVIDIA Shield, MatCatz Mojo... I'm sure there will be others.

Ouya seems to be the most successful so far though.
