Nice console. Do like that colour! ^^ I however bought myself a Dragon Quest console in the end. Was very happy with it too and also got it from Nippon-Yasan. Lol Their packaging is great and they undervalued the package to avoid customs fees for me in the UK which I fully expected to get stung by, so was all in all very pleased with their service.

Limited Edition PS4 for Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward Announced for Japan in Black and White

During the Letter from the Producer Live broadcasted from the Nico Nico Chokaigi event in Japan, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida showcased something quite spiffy.

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan and Asia will release two custom limited edition PS4 models themed after the Heavensward expansion will go on sale on the Japanese market.

Pre-orders will be available on Sony’s own store on April 28th at 11 AM Japan time. The deal, named PS4 Final Fantasy XIV Heavensward Edition, will include a 500 GB PS4 (in black or white) with a laser-etched hard disk drive bay.

It will also come with a custom PS4 theme and a choice among the PS4 edition of the base game, the expansion or the expansion’s collector’s edition.

Of course there’s no word about any release in the west, and like most of these special edition consoles, we’re probably not going to get them.
