The top players don't play alone, they share the account with other guys to boost the trophy list unless they're rich and have nothing better to do in life.

But I guess is not "cool" to put all the items for sale (auction) and donate everything to charity.

the people who "won" are already being validated as cheaters. the guy who won the killzone outfit, redsoxfan95, went from 6000 trophies to 14000 in one day. i understand what sony was trying to do but its already an unfair advantage. i love trophies, have roughly 2800 trophes, but i only have 300 or so golds. i dont even have a chance with other people who have 1000s

Yes there's been a lot of bad press over PS3's trophy hackers because of this

It will be interesting to see if Sony does anything about the cheaters but I have my doubts

They don't care or have no idea about the trophy hacks. At this point they don't give a fuck about the ps3 or the security with the next console coming in a few months.
