I tried to go down to the store for an answer today but they closed as soon as I arrived.

I'll either have to go down tomorrow or order it off of Amazon.
Unfortunately Amazon are sold-out, why GAME are still taking pre-orders is beyond me.

@Havuk I'm sure you're referring to the PS3?? I called my JB today and I was told the PS3 is still delayed and they don't know the reasoning either. BUT....one store in Vic does have it for some anomanal reason?? Anyway, both EB & JB don't have the CE listed on their sites, though strangely enough Game does for all formats?!? Kinda the same thing happened to Lego HP, the Xbox CE got delayed by a week after the PS3 version was released. I just hope they don't cancel my order cos I did it very late! *legs crossed*

Well that's more than a co-incidence mate. I've seen a few comments on the forum from people in other countries complaining about a shortage of the PS3 version.

I wouldn't mind betting that we've been stitched up here because the Customer Service bloke i spoke with said he would "try" and re-order me a PS3copy. I told him that i wasn't letting go of the 360 one until they confirmed that they definitely can send me a PS3.

Be interesting to see if this happens to anyone else because something smells a bit fishy to me

They are back in stock at Amazon on all formats and seem plentiful so i guess it was a delay in stock reaching suppliers - perhaps not so limited after all

Too bad price is now £70 and not £54 as it was for pre-orders.

Well, I finally got my PS3 version this evening after a load of pissing about with order "delays."

Looking on the bright side I had 30 days to return the 360 version so I was able to make sure that the PS3 one was definitely coming. Also they didn't try to charge me full-price after i pre-ordered it at £53 . . .which was a good price, all the dicking around notwithstanding.

I still think Amazon pulled a flanker here by sending out 360 as a placeholder because of a PS3 shortage. Personally, I'd have more respect for these corporations if they just told you the truth in the first place.

I just hope the 2012 CE season brings better online pre-order competence because this year has sucked, quite frankly

Did you order a PS3 version, havuk ? There seems to have been a general supply problem all over with that version. I and another member were were sent 360 versions instead until the PS3 supply became available in the UK.

To be honest, jbhifi sound like a right pile of shite

yes, i did order the ps3 version since it's region free, and am aware of the shortages etc.. but JBHihi should still be able to answer a simple question instead of these "canned" responses...
