Default It's an occupational hazard...

Heya peeps - just wanted to add our collection to... the... collection...

Something you should know - my fiance works at a place that sells games and is VERY into his job. This is the result with my own crazy thrown in... You'll notice the entire collection of series one and 2 skylanders are missing... they're in a box in the closet, it was just becoming too much...

We are feebly trying to resist the Disney Infinity... must... resist... must... no... more... room!!

Let me start with MY precious - The amazing Game of Thrones collection -
(Hey, it's a game! ... that's based off a show that's based of a series of books! It passes, right?)

This thing was a beast to make - yeah.... I made it. Glutton for punishment, right? Soo much printing, staining, and polycrylic - not to mention each and every sigil had to have 4 eye hooks screwed into each one. My thumbs still hate me.

More stuff I made - including the amazing and wonderful full sized dragon eggs - each weighing in at a stunning 13-15 lbs. What? I'm serious about my GoT addiction, don't judge me.

Maesters Apothecary Kit

House sigils and misc stuff - (the Kazoo of Winter is not pictured but it exists... oh yes... beware.)

Ok, WHEW! Now that that's outta my system! Here are all the other crazy things we have to occupy the spacings in our house! (The moment you've all been waiting for!)

The Bioshock Wall is placed firmly above the television, making it a focal point of the collection... too bad it's in such a sorry state! We have a few things on the way though: The motorized patriot, the 5 11X16 vigor posters, and of course the Devils Kiss vigor bottle that he knows nothing about... he thinks I am getting him a playstation, honey, PAHLEEZE.

**DISCLAIMER!** Picture quality on these is pretty terrible - sorry about that.

The Overflow Shelf (as I like to call it) houses things mostly that are one-ofs... they aren't part of a set so they end up here. We still love them just as much as the others and they know that so their feelings don't get hurt for being excluded from the main group. (Some of them are very sensitive...???)

Yeah, see those little wooden baby figurines!?!? Yeah, he wanted to put those in a box but I told him NO. This is what he gets for moving in with a girl. Right next to the Bond collection... it's perfect!

Finally - the meat - the bulk - the Wall of Glory. Now, this is where most of it lives and I realize that it dwarfs some of your amazing collections but it's an ever-growing work in progress... it's also an occupational hazard.

Lets talk Assassins Creed...

You see that litho in the middle? You have that litho and haven't gotten around to framing it? Let me share a little secret we learned the hard way when we bought frames for all of our other lithos last week - this will not fit in a standard 8x10 frame. It's actually 10.5 inches tall - thus requiring a custom made frame for it. It's a very cool piece - however - it comes with a lot of curse words.

More random stuff -

(GO A'S!)

And finally.... tin can man...

He probably also has every strategy guide ever made for every game.... but that's a pretty boring set of pictures so I will spare you. The collection of Portal posters (x6), Assassins Creed posters (cept the one...), and all the tins and special boxes are in the office - I only have so much room and believe me - asking him to store some of it in there was like asking him to chew off his arm... like a little spark inside of him died... like I just ate the last cookie... It was hard, but we got through it.

That's mostly it! He has some other stuff in random places like all the classic games and classic gaming systems - (If I ever get the urge to play Dragon Warrior on the original Nintendo I'm pretty much set...) - but the collection itself is very spread out... not a lot of one thing just a lot of a lot of things..

Anyway, I hope you've enjoyed your stay in my living room - can I get you some coffee? Perhaps some lemonade?

Take the .html at the end of the URL of the pics and they should work.

Fixed your pics, Gazereths is right, you want the direct code not the HTML code.

I made them with red clay- took about 2 weeks to build them, then fire them, then they have to go through a second high firing then painted. I made a few broken dragon eggs for candle sconces too but ran outta steam and never painted em. They're still pretty neat tho.
