Man that was/is a long while to wait... especially when the wait was not pre-adverstised.
But I am sure people are just grateful regardless.

But as you kind of pointed out it was nice of them to offer them to the forum members who could not get one at PAX (they were not a PAX exclusive i do not think... or were the labeled as such even though only 77 of them could be there? Would not make sense... so I am not sure this is entirely accurate: "wasn't even suppose to be for sale outside of Cons").

And so far it was only sold at pax and given as a promo/prize. So as of now, it technically was only for sale at a con (and here as a special opportunity) |

. Oh well, cannot help who I am.That is great you see it that way, and I could be wrong but it seems to me that the "after E3" message came long after people had already payed and were waiting for shipment. This is simply and observation, not an accusation. There were not promo's or prizes of any kind. These are the collectors editions ones that are number out of 300. FAD wanted to create more for the fans and collectors like us, that was awesome of him to do so because a lot of us wanted one The ones you are thinking of are the Sony (I forget the actual name of them) employee/promotion ones that have 400 or so but are not numbered (and 150 were given as prizes rest were given to Sony and Sucker Punch employees). But yes so far it was only available at PAX East and the awesome opportunity through the forum thanks to FAD and TreeHouse. The rest were going to be sold, FAD just did not know how they would sell them (they did not make 300 number statues only to have 233 of them sit somewhere forever).' Again I was just saying I felt bad for the wait is all, nothing against anyone... just expressing my feelings for those who are waiting. But I am glad you did not want yours for a awhile, that way it does not bother you in the least.

Hey Gang, I'm back!!
Sorry to go so long without responding but E3 was crazy! Not only did I have to make the Galahad and weapons displays for us, but i made them for Europe and Japan too, so I was working on those in the evenings during E3. When I got back, I had been gone for 9 days (and 5 days before that for Wonderfest), so it took me the week to get a handle on things. So, where are your statues? First off, I appreciate your patience. As a collector, I know how hard it is to wait for your purchases (I just got my Hot Toys "The Crow" which showed up long after all my friends got theirs...so I "get it"). What you have to realize is that I am a one man department and my part time admin assistant and I are deali g with this personally. Ryan and Treehouse were nice enough to run your credit cards, but in order to keep the shipping costs low, I am shipping your statues straight from our offices in San Mateo using our Sony FedEx account...and the shipping price can't be beat. We had to order special boxes (our mail room couldn't understand why they couldn't slap a label on the factory shipping carton. I had to explain to them that that some collectors value ALL the packaging) which came in on Friday. On Monday morning, my assistant and I will be packing these up ourselves and sending them off. I hope you enjoy them! Gary Last edited by Fad; 06-22-2014 at 04:18 PM. |
