I would like one, but there's no way I was going to pay that amount, especially when Zavvi are renowned for slashing upto 80% off such things shortly after release...

Zavvi are pretty good at returning thing if you keep on top of them, let them do it at their own pace and you will run into problems.

Will you have to return for refund or will they give it to you with discount?

It depends which courier, the courier Amazon uk used are the worst. My copy was packed very well and even then it had massive damage to the box, see here: http://collectorsedition.org/forums/...amaged&page=10

Well I heard from them yesterday and I was basically asked to box it up, ship it back and they will send me a new product. Any advice on shipping to UK? I saw on here somewhere that USPS is ideal...this will be my first time shipping out of the country so I have NO idea what to expect.

i also ordered sonic generations from amazon.de..it came with DAMAGED corners..as the packaging was FLIMSY...and the box was NOT THE RIGHT SIZE...and the exterior writing besides the word sonic generations is ALL GERMAN!!!!

Shipping back to UK is fairly easy, you already have the address but will also need a CN22 custom form. These can be obtained at the post office or alternatively fill it in online and print. http://webapps.usps.com/customsforms/#

It's nothing more than a delivery note which declares the contents and value and that you are responsible. remember to sign it.

Pack up and send, are Zavvi asking you to pay for the return?

Measure the box and the weight. dent input into USPS website for a quote.

I still haven't received mine :/
I know customs can take a while but I usually get UK orders in like a week on average.
