This doesn't look good for Australia, I've tried at 3 different stores, none of which have the preorders working and are only taking customer names. Online orders still work though, so I've managed to get one to convince myself I need.

I like how EA Australia, Bioware, Ebgames AU are all ignoring me when I ask why Australia PC does not have Deluxe Edition content. I might just sell the game when I get it and buy the digital deluxe online for all the content :/ Work out to be cheaper as well.

Just checked with Gamestop and the item cannot be pre-ordered in store.
While they can pre-order it for you in store, it is still through their website and the item can be either delivered to your home or their store for pick-up. So payment will be in full. No deposit. |

We are aware that there is currently no PC uber edition available in Europe. We are working on it now. Sorry this happened ------- Also, apparently many of the places are completely sold out. There are more and more reports that it is a super limited supply, especially outside the US. ------ By what I understand, Australia doesn't stock the deluxe version for PC as well. After some investigation I found out from the EB games facebook that it is because the distributor for AUS/NZ is refusing to print a deluxe edition for PC. And on top of that EB games is not actively asking for enough even though there is demand a similar thing happened with Arkham Origins and Titanfall. >.> They are saying that the same distributors are messing with the Inquisitor Edition of the game as well. |

((Oops Lyrical you beat me to some of this!))
And I spoke with Multiple GameStop reps in the US. This is everything I garnered from the convos. ![]() You cannot pickup the Collector’s Edition IN STORE at any GameStop in the US (I am unsure about other countries). So you will not be able to pick it up at any midnight release at any store. This means that you must pay full price when you buy it in store, and the store will only ship it to your home. ![]() (Direct from GameStop Cart) The Collector’s Edition comes shipped directly from the factory to your home. Too many people have ordered CE’s in the past and never picked them up, so now all CE’s are direct from factory. Certain Retailers have decided it should only be straight from factory. Our CE is one of them. This means two things: You must pay an additional $14.00 for One Day Shipping to play DA:I on release day. Otherwise, if you purchase the CE you can be waiting up to a week or two depending where you live. ![]() You must pay the total amount 10 days before release. GameStop’s policy is a little vague, but they say that they will charge your account in full up to 10 days before the release date the total amount of the game. This means, no paid installments beforehand, etc. So Basically, People in the US will end up paying $200 to play their CE on release day. Also please be aware, there are a limited number left in the US and many stores worldwide have already sold out. Last edited by ouroboros; 05-15-2014 at 06:57 PM. Reason: Ninja'd by Lyrical |

[EDIT:For this "pick-up" to actually happen, you have to pre-order in store. There is no other way around it.] Limited huh? I didn't know if I wanted this...but now I KNOW I DON'T because I don't want to risk it getting damaged in the mail plus no Midnight pick-up etc. |
