F4F are pushing back the preorder on Snake and changing a lot:






Thankfully they also changed the face.



Still not a fan of the pose, but this statue has been salvaged imo. Props to F4F for listening to the fans and not just sticking with the "we're using official files from konami" excuse. Easy buy and I can't wait for the rest of the line.

12.5" at 1/6 scale would put the Big Daddy over 6 feet when scaled up.

I preordered this, but I'm not sure I want to keep it. When I first heard about it, I thought it was a statue. But with the exposed joints (especially on the Little Sister), it just looks like a regular figure (like NECA) for a bucket of money.

6 feet really isn't that much. The big daddies are taller than that imo...

Ended up pre-ordering the Solid Snake statue. Not a fan of the pose, but hey, can't go wrong with an 18 inch statue of the badass Solid Snake lol.

I read somewhere that F4F has a warehouse in Canada now. Does this mean that Canadian customers won't have to pay custom fees at the door at time of delivery?

I believe that's correct. If I remember right, I didn't pay anything at the door for Artorias. Plus shipping was only like $50 for Snake which might be the least I've ever paid for shipping a statue. These savings are really going to make collecting the entire line a lot more feasible for Canadian customers.

Also, check out the new (additional) head. It looks excellent.

Sweet. Yeah, paying $100-200 at the door in customs charges is really a drag. Hopefully we can avoid it.

New head looks nice! They really nailed it. That image on the far right is a spitting reflection of how Snake looks like from the side imo.

These will be available only from Thinkgeek, Gamestop and the Betheda store.

Not so bad for a $40 statue. Wished the base looked better though

After all the expensive statues, I think this one will be right for me. Just too many stuff out there..
