So after reading 11 pages of this thread, looks like synopsis for USA peeps is that if you want PS4 collector's ed, then you are buying Charing Cross edition pre-order from uPlay shop. So does anyone know for certain that Amazon/Gamestop will offer anything more than the standard/gold games currently available for pre-order? Does anyone recall how far in advance the major USA retailers like Amazon/Gamestop/BestBuy/Walmart/Target, etc. etc. all offered pre-orders for CE on previous AC incarnations? Of course I am reluctant to pre-order any CE after that AK Batmobile edition business.

I personally like the Big Ben figure better and all the included swag but even if you go through extra hoops to import it from UK then that wouldn't be the USA region game correct? So we USA peeps would to spend for the PS4 game stand-alone and then whatever cost to import the Big Ben edition?

P.S. I like the tin from the NZ site too but probably wait and buy it alone off eBay when it pops up there.

It wouldn't be the US region but as far as I'm aware, the PS4 is region free just like the PS3 as far as games go, meaning it'll play games from any region.

You just need to make an account to the disc country say UK so the dlc can be used and if you need to buy anything of PSN just use PayPal.

For DLC it's handy to have a couple of different PSN accounts from different regions, mainly EU and US from what I've ran into before tbh.

From what I heard, the CE was only going to be an Ubishop exclusive, theoretically to reduce the amount of waste of having Ubi CEs sitting on shelves across the country not being sold (like every other AC game). However, this was from a GS manager, and Ubisoft did not deny or confirm this when I contacted them about it.

For what its worth, I've basically just imported every UK version for the last 3 games and the discs (and DLC) have all seemed to work on my Xbox consoles. (Ended up getting the 360 version instead of X1 of AC4:BF though because they sent me the wrong console version) but sounds like PS4 should be doable as well.
