You're forgetting the nice box it comes in too...

Like the box that was mentioned above, this edition have the complete OST of the game. I don't think there was any CE from S-E that brought the complete OST.

Yeah you're right, the Crystal Edition came with the complete 4 Disk OST. The Limited Edition only came with 1 disk of selected tracks from the OST.

Not true at all, the PS3 version [or a PS3 game from any region for that matter] will work on all PS3 consoles. And the RRP for either version were not similar at all, not that close at all actually.

When it comes to any collectors edition item you don't pay over a hundred dollars or pounds for a neat box (it's an extremely plain box too). The shirt doesn't even have color. That makes its production even cheaper.

I take back what I said about the US edition though, as there is none. US got the Collectors Edition (which is 90% the same, basically), but no Crystal Edition. Still, I see this edition selling all over the place, meaning it's not really that rare, just way too expensive.

In any case, if anyone has an Xbox 360 as well, you can save a lot of money on this. I don't know why the PS3 version is going for so much more.

As far as I know, this edition is now sold out everywhere, so ebay pricing is ruling... I've seen this happening a lot of times.

About the Xbox version being cheaper, well, it seems that fans do prefer playing FF on the Playstation. I could choose the Xbox one when I bought the 1st one, instead I paid more for the PS3 version...

Just Like Mass Effect, I'll buy the Xbox version, even though it's going to be available on PS3!

Actually it looks like the "Limited Collectors Edition" only featured a "composer selected soundtrack CD". The "Collectors Edition" also has the complete four-disc OST.

I guess it just comes down to preference. I prefer everything on the 360, but that's only because its controllers are so damn comfortable.

Anyways, the "Limited Collectors Edition" is the UK's CE for FFXIII-2, and it only comes with a one disc selective OST. The "Collectors Edition" is NA's CE, and it comes with the four disc OST.

No more confusion, lol.

Yeah, I liked the look of the US Collectors Edition. Looked really smart! I forgot that they were different per region! lol

The US usually gets screwed over when it comes to CEs. We didn't even get a CE for FFXIII! In this case I suppose we didn't get screwed too badly. The Collectors Edition is worlds cheaper than the Crystal and almost identical. Oh well.
