But they won't tell you how they'll charge for shipping until closer to release date!!
I have no idea of what estimate they'll have and even when you get to the checkout for an instock item you have to wait a few days for the the shipping fees to be calculated but you actually have to complete the order first

I got a response from Sideshow regarding shipping cost;
[just the important bits here]

"When we are provided with the finalized dimensions we will email the order totals, including the shipping costs, to all customers that have this item on order. This email is usually sent 10-20 business days before the item arrives in our warehouse.

I can advise the cost to ship a comparable item which is similar in size and cost as the item that you inquired about, would be approximately $35.00 - $45.00 US Dollars each - freight only.

Please be advised this estimated cost does not include any customs fees or taxes that may be charged by your government for importing the product."

That sounds reasonable enough I guess and may help you consider how much more you'll need to save between now and when they charge you

wow 35-45 dollars quite cheap shipping something this massive.. but then again just an estimate..

Thank Matrix Yeah I should be able to do it no problem, shipping in September, so since I've paid $49.00 deposit, I've still to pay $440, so say the shipping is $60 so it's an even $500, that's £320 roughly, there's 5 months before September, so even if I save £100 a month, I'll save more than I have to, so I'll plan on £100 a month so that the busier game months (May, since I have the portal gun and three GOW guns and MP3 on order) I can save a bit less xx
