am planning to get the join or die edition from zavvi, does anyone know if there will be any custom charges if i shipped it to US ? like for example a standard edition game from zavvi to new york, any custom charges ? how much will that be ?

Never had any custom charges from zavvi to the US,..your better off ordering from germany amazon www.amazon.de ...there packaging is wayyyyyy better then zavvi..unless your an opener and u don't necassarily care about dents/dings/scratches.

you'll need to take into consideration that you'll be receiving a German version! Although the in-game language can be set to English, the cover of the game packaging and game case will be littered in deutsch text.

oh i see, Matrix6 is right about the language ....especially with that journal will be in dutch.
i could request zavvi to be more careful with the packing right ?

Just thought i would throw this in here,its a short interview with Alex Ross who designed the steelbook cover for Assassins Creed III.
Its not much,but may be off interest to some. So have a read & see who he thinks will win in a fight,the Assassins or Batman

Nothing exclusive by the moment...for sure there will be gifts for the preorders in any shop...

But it's so early that they just want to sold out the game and then, they will think any gift for preorders...

They know it's going to run out...so they don't care about that stuff here and in this specific case...

Anyone has any ideas getting a copy of Freedom Edition outside of the UK?
Doesnt allow me to access UK ubi shop due to auto-redirect
and gamestop UK wont accept my credit card

The Freedom Edition is exclusive to EBGames, Gamestop and Ubisoft Online store in UK, Europe and Australia. Since none of these companies ship international you will have to find someone to "forward" the game to you from whichever region you choose (either Europe or Australia). We have a lot of Australian and European/UK members willing to do forwards and group buys. Check around...
