It's quite large, maybe about the size of the Warhammer Space Marines CE? xx
lol, not that large, it's about the same size as the Back to the Future tin CE
And then you have the French statue edition which I missed out on when it was on sale.

And how long until they can release the 3D Bluray to the general pubic?

I'm hoping for The Hunger Games to be released in steelbook, currently reading the novel

Oh, is this the one with the SeniType film cell inside? I think I recall this CE, but probably passed it up because of it's ridiculous price. Same goes for the Senna CE, which I didn't bother with as it was far too expensive!

I don't think anyone knows that except for James Cameron! Pretty bad though, considering this is perhaps the one 3D movie most people would want to watch in 3D, yet the one that has yet to be released as a 3D Blu-Ray...

I have a massive 55" 3D LED screen. I've had it for a year, but never watched a 3D film on it yet. The only two I have Lion King 3D and Immortals 3D (SteelBook), but I really want to experience Avatar in 3D without having to go to the cinema to see it! Maybe they're holding out so the cinemas can still show it in 3D, as it always seems to sell out whenever they bring it back.

I'm sure it will be. This film will have a massive Dvd / Blu-Ray release, and I'm sure they'll promote it as much as they can based on the success of the film at the box office

I did some googling, and it appears that Panasonic's contract with Avatar 3D had expired back in Feb. So now it can be widely sold at retail and online shops whenever FOX brings it out on the market?! Hopefully by year's end as some retailers have already placed it on their site such as amazon.de http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B007...SIN=B007QU5GXS And with that I hope they also bring out a CE and steelbook with it....again!

Yeah, can't wait for Hunger Games, it'll be out in August, though I'm hoping for a CE with a steelbook, I mainly want a steelie though

My breaking bad, I read the thread title and generalised it to CE's worldwide
Did the UK happen to get the Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle Edition? I know France, Germany and the US did. And did you also get all the Steelbooks for all the HP films? I think Germany has and so did Canada.

Not your fault. I suppose it could be, as themidlandmaster is in Australia, but you quoted my post which was primarily a list of UK Blu-Ray CE's

I can't recall whether we got it for Blu-Ray or not. I know there was a luggage case (HP 1-5?), but can't remember whether this was for Blu-Ray or just Dvd. I passed it up as I didn't want an incomplete set. I also recall there being a replica wizard's wand set, but I have an idea that it was a North American CE

I know we're due the 31 disc Wizard's Collection in September though:

No. This I am 100% sure about. Which is a shame, as these look amazing in their presentation case!

This was released in the U.K - sold at Harrods only (300 of them i believe) and also across europe, was available at Amazon.fr. It was a 1-8 blu ray CE with elder wand replica

Ahha, that's the badger!

I knew it was rare in this country, and knew there was a reason why I didn't own it. That would explain why

Yeh apparently they had some members of the cast (smaller roles) sign the copies that were for sale

so what is really rare is an unsigned UK version
