Default To many steelbook variants

So, i got recently into steelbook collecting, although i prefer g2 sized ps3 branded steelbooks, i pretty much collect them all.

One frustration though is the amount of steelbooks available.

Lets start with the futureshop steelbooks, they have now steelbooks for pretty much every big game, exclusive to them. They also suck by putting barcode on them and not sealing them, and also not offering international shipping. This inflates prices on ebay, asking for a steelbook only almost the price of the full game.

Lets take medal of honor for example, this game allready has 3 different steelbooks.

-Futureshop
- Polish steelbook
- Steelbook on shopto and other sites (this is the 'regular' one i think).

Wanting these steelbooks, will allready cost you about 120 euro.

And besides that, every game seems to have at least one steelbook edition now a days.

I'm starting to get on the steelbook collecting also and am sticking with only G2 size. Since I am from Canada, I am lucky enough to get the FS steels.

I will be getting the MoH steel soon, and as it will be G1, I will likely want to trade it off for a G2.. hint hint lol

Is there anywhere I could look to see what G2 steels are even out there? I would only be wanting to see games, not movies.

The Freedom is the original 'standard' US pre-order variant:

The PS vita is:

There's no steelbook in the Join or Die edition, the US preorder steelbook is inside the Freedom Edition, not Join or Die xx

yeah I pretty much gave up on building my SteelBook collection. I WAS collecting all North American releases until Futureshop decided to start releasing all kinds of exclusives and not shipping "internationally"

The real kick in the balls is that I'm a 2 hour drive to the border and a 3 hour drive to the nearest Futureshop... and those jerks still wont ship to me.

I am frustrated, too.

The problem is that most steelbook are exclusive to specific countries and it is nearly impossible to get them all if you just have started with collecting.

I started collecting videogamesteelbooks in march and still I got only 40 till 50 steelbooks and I have invested between 1500 - 2000 euro, because a lot of them were in terrible condition when I got them from ebayseller that's why I was looking for a forums like that.
