i pre-ordered my edition aswell, got to say the shipping is pretty cheap, but they stating it's a 200 dollars statue seems a bit wrong, if you compare it with a statue like http://www.projecttriforce.com/index...=product&id=27 from their store, the one from Last of Us looks quite cheap compared to that one, so i can tell the price is totally not true already.

Ah right, i see, i was totally overlooking that. But if the statue is actually made from stone, and it isn't plastic like the Gears of War 3 statue had and Halo Reach, i would actually be surprised and then the price would actually be believable, for a bit!.

The Last Of US statue is going to be some type of hard plastic or resin. The production cost to make something out of stone several thousand times would be unimaginable.

It would pretty much have to be done either all by hand or by a CNC machine, both of which are entirely impractical at that scale

I personally believe it will be better quality then the GoW 3 and Halo Reach statues but not sure of course

Hmm yeah, there was atleast one CE i did get where the statue was actually made from stone, which is the Dragon's Dogma Collector's Edition from Japan, but of course the statue is a little smaller than 12 inch aswell(probably around 5-6 inch). It's possible, but it would probably cost them way too much to make actually these statues in stone, unless this edition is actually extremely limited?.

I'm happy with both though, but stone just feels like it has a lot more value in some way :p

To make it out of stone it would have to be limited to a 1000 atmost I imagine which although it's limited it's not that limited!

Wow, probably the first time I've seen a CE that sold out before it even released! Maybe it really is limited lol. Hmmm, kinda spewing I didn't get one now. I still think the statue will turn out to be garbage, especially for that price. No way the statue alone is worth $200, or they'd be making no money! I'll be pleasantly surprised if it turns out good. I wonder if Gamestop will get more of these in stock?
