Now the next big hurdle is if Australia is black listed from this.

Yes but if US Gamestop gets it then international customers can most likely buy it directly from US gamestop and have it shipped to them

Much like with TLoU PPE

Most of the time products I want from Amazon don't ship to Australia anymore That's how I was able to get the Witcher 2 CE here.
