Seeing as how many of these are damaged, those with truly MINT copies shouls think about getting them graded - would be quite valuable i guess

based on the picture above, what if everything looks great outside, but the inside a wreck? It seems as though the inside material is so thin the book can damage those thin cardboard.

After speaking with them today they are going to send a courier to my house on Tuesday to pick up the damaged ones and replace them with mint copies. The person was actually quite helpful and was not surprised about the damage, obviously they have had lots of complaints.
I got my 4th copy today and it was mint, so I have 2 mint copies and to duffers that are being replaced.........This must have cost them loads more than if they had simply packed them well in the first place. The face punching will happen if the next 2 arrive damaged LOL |

I'll never understand why items are sent the way they are, like you say it costs them money to have it returned and re-sent, not to mention the damage it does to reputations, well Zavvi doesn't have much of a reputation to destroy but you know what i mean

For people who don't open, they will never have a problem with damage inside, not the point though

It's the hassle I hate. Esepecially when most of the time it's unnecessary. You'd think they'd spend more time & care making sure something arrived perfect first time, rather than the inconvenience of having to return items. It's not good for them, it's not good for us, so why do they still do it? If there's anything I hate, it's phoning companies up and complaining about how they packaged their items. It makes me want to go down there in person and give them a step-by-step tutorial in how to package an item properly
I know these aren't the most sturdy of CE's, but you would've thought that they would've realised this and applied more care and attention to packaging them in such a way to avoid damage during transit... |

Well in the follow up email I asked them "when I return them would you like me to put them in the box they were originally delivered in or actually package them securely?" - Not had a response yet but it gave me a giggle
