Default Re: What would an MK Press Kit be worth?

Mine doesn't have the outer box and the t-shirt but went for £20-something - oh and it includes a few press papers as well. I also lost a complete one that ended for a little over £50 because I didn't place a bid on time and another one for about £60 because the seller wouldn't send to me. Then I've seen it go for over £100 a couple of times and I thought it was excessive. I didn't follow the rest of the auctions but damn this press kit is pretty weak and fragile to be worth such prices.

Edit: That press kit is also missing the fact sheet and the 3d glasses.

Which is the very reason the MK preskit on this thread would go for higher price. Despite the fragile nature its still in near mint condition. I would recommend trellgoth to store it inside an additional corton to avoid any further dengs/dents. Just my 2 cents there

Sure, I understand your opinion, but even still I find it hard to believe it is worth so much: content-wise, material-wise, etc etc. There are so many press kits so much better than this and going for much less or equal that price, not to mention this appeared quite a few times on ebay, belongs to a popular franchise and it was available for both ps3 and xbox (meaning that there are probably quite a few out there compared to other press kits). It doesn't even include a promotional copy of the game as the promo copy was bundled separately...

Just my 2 cents as well, which makes 4 cents already. How much is a gum in your country?

My press kit had XBox 360 promo copy, I bought it directly from a game reviewer at IGN (a close friend)

There's only a few hundred of that tshirt made? I have that shirt, I bought it from MrBubbles for £10. He said it was a preorder bonus in his country, so may not be as rare as you think xx

WoW! you got it for just 10 quid?!? Are you sure its the same t-sirt from the press kit? Cause I never heard of it being given as pre-order bonusses

As far as I know, a few were given in E3 2010 (apart from being included in press kit ofcourse). They are indeed very exclusive.

Is it this one you got?

They get sold on ebay for as high as £50-70

You are v lucky to get one for that price Need to see if MrBubbles has got more of these

I also think the AC1 press kit is not that special, and that's the reason I don't have one yet. I sacrificed the only one I bought back then to a friend who is nuts for AC.

This doesn't mean I'm not regretting not having one at the moment though. I still hope to get one some day. Everything AC related seems to be worth a lot nowadays :/

Is that the one with the feather, Saturn? Yeah I could never quite understood the craze behind that kit, especially since it pretty mediocre imho. Its just the franchise name that call for exhorbitant prices.

Yeah, the silver box with the feather. I've had it in my hands before.
