oh btw. i just see that the badge from the AC statue looks very cool, if im not mistaken is that badge completely mirrored like that badge from the Batman Arkham Origins Batarang Presskit which is also from Pure Arts

Its more a case of I know I can't afford a lot so I have learnt to not set my standards very high and as long as I can see a picture of tmsonething I don't actually mind not having it in my house or being able to touch it

So guys, here's my two cents on this whole pure arts statue some supposedly didn't exist and ubisoft officially denied it, and now it's on sale somewhere, somehow.

I contacted pure arts directly, and their 'shanghai director' wrote me back personally. Now I must say this... My 'spidey-sense' bullshit me has hit an all time high with their reply. They have said some key words that are huge red flags to me and I'm running away as fast as I can.


I wrote pure arts asking details about the statue and price. Basic stuff. Now keep in my also they do not have a website, just a 'coming soon' link. Without copying the email, I'll highly specifics of their reply:


"My job is to help make your dreams come true"

"Yes it's true! I received authorization to offer you this unique item!"

"Lucky guy! We will send you a payment request by paypal shortly after you send us these infos"

Well I think the artist proof probably counts for (as you stated) real AC fans and real Statue collectors.

I completely understand how it doesn't count for you as a "holy grail" or "personal best" but just because we don't like something, it doesn't take away from how rare it is.

I also think by you saying it's "just unpainted" is similar to me saying my litho is only just un-signed.

As long as it's official, it counts!

So if Ubisoft denies it, how come Pure Arts are selling it? Are they making unofficial duplicates of it to sell and make profits? Hmm..
