Long time reader, first time poster.
My Metal Gear Solid HD collectors edition was shipped on 2/2, and I got it today, yay.

Like everyone has stated before, the box is poorly made. I was lucky tho, because Zavvi put it in a big box with some plastic bags filled with air.

The box still got some dents in the corners, but it´s ok...

Overall, I´m happy that it survived the journey from England to Sweden.

And yeah, the steelcase is a real steelcase, not a stickerbook ^^ phew.

I received a pretty generic reply from them today and I'll be sending mine back tomorrow for a replacement copy. I added a note asking them to ship it in a sturdy, large enough box with sufficient padding and I sincerely hope they do that. Don't want to have to deal with another pile of junk in a trash bag.

Decided just to send mine back lol got £10 for metal gear solid 4 on its own and this item has probalay got more people keeping sealed than opening it that it wont ever have any resale value to it - and in all fairness it's a dog shit CE lol especially for the price rather have my £70 back and spend it in something nice and worthwhile for my collection!

5 years time everyone selling this will have it sealed so it won't be anything special - as too many people from what I've seen have bought multiple copy's of this to sell on which just cancels everyone else copy's out!!

Tomorrow I'll be opening a claim on paypal for the editions I ordered plus the resident evil 3ds with that extra stick. I's unbearable to wait for 3 weeks when other purchases from most stores arrive in less than a week. Amazon takes only a couple of days. I'm totally pissed.
