The delays keep reminding me of the SycoCollectibles saga. They will claim items will be shipped out at the end of the week. 2 weeks later, they will apologize for delays. 2 months later, they show production photos and it's not even painted yet. Another month and they say they are running more delays..

As for FireFigures, they have not even showed us the details yet and they are pressurizing us to be the top 100/ first 100 whatever to order for a free gift.. In the pressure to order early, I hope everyone doesn't forget to check if they are legit.

Besides I don't see any evidence of a proper payment system. Are we supposed to pay upfront and wait for production? Pay via Paypal? If they keep delaying shipment or worse.. If they are a scam, how are we going to get a refund from PayPal after their allowed period?

I'm actually quite a surprised that a new company can produce 4 high quality figures which are apparently ready for sale even before a single one has sold. I thought usually companies would start slow?

Where's their company info? Still no news about the partnership between the company and Ubisoft? Shouldn't 1/6 collectibles make hot news? Seems like I can set up a Facebook page and a half-ready website and show off some custome collectibles me and my friends made?

Already sent a few mails to the few Ubisoft branches in Asia to see if they have any info.. Hopefully they reply back in time.
Apologies for the long post and any speeding to grammar errors, posting from my iPhone..

Seems to be hosted by a server from this Saudi Arabian company http://www.zarief.com/

Might try giving that number a call and see what happens albeit that could just be a local server location or something

It does look very dodgy especially when half the sit doesn't work and is very basically made.

Gonna wait this one out to see what happens

Just realized what this means

Quote:
Delivery time will be 30 business days after successful payment receiving.
So that would imply delivery right around 42 days after payment received?

30 business days + 12 weekend days? At the very least

So right on the paypal limit bubble

Also rather strange that it's 30 USD shipping everywhere in the world

Surely these are being shipped from a country right?

I mean shouldn't someone get a cheaper shipping method???

In the past, if there was any AC figures/statues released, would Ubisoft announce it too?

If i were to order it now, and got into any trouble (touch wood), can I still cancel it with paypal?

Shipping is using EMS? If I remember correctly, that's from China and the same one SycoCollectibles were using...

Server hosted in Saudi Arabia? Crap! Syco Collectibles had a very shady associate living there as well? I need to check this out more thoroughly.

Instead of answering my questions with the launch, they have given more questions.
