Thanks Knight. Would you mind sharing your preferred method/source of getting the best deal on UK CE versions in the USA? You just eBay it or preferred vendor/site you typically order from?

I can click on the UK UBI site for pre-order of the Big Ben ACS CE, but won't even let me add to a cart (I assume because it recognizes my IP as USA).

UBI seems funny about this geography thing. When I contacted the PureArts people about getting my Connor Premium statue, they wouldn't sell it directly to me simply because their license with UBI prohibited sales to clients in USA.

I was debating doing a group buy for this from the uk but was left downhearted with all the fuss we had (me and knight) getting a nice one. Ubishop tend to do all their shipping in a single skin cardboard box with no package protection so pristine condition ce's were never an option ive already had a couple messages regarding the big ben edition so abit of feedback regarding the situation would be listened to are you guys willing to take the risk I would appreciate knights input cant remember how long he waited till he got a nice one

Hey there. I wasn't all that bothered regarding the delay as much as I was that you had to deal with all the hassle from Ubi to square it away. I know over here they're a real pain to deal with and it seemed you had a similar experience. I honestly STILL haven't even played the game yet, so I didn't mind waiting at all for a good condition one. It was mainly a problem with the guillotine edition though because of how flimsy they made it. Even after getting a near-mint one from you, my cover started to fall out after a month or so because of having something leaning up against (or ontop of ) the box.

I didn't have any troubles at all with the AC4:BF CE when we ordered that one (well, other than that you sent me the 360 one instead of the x1 one by mistake haha). I don't know what the Big Ben outer box will be like, but if they're smart, it'll be more like the BF one than the Unity one!

If you can handle the stress and hassle and all that comes with a GB, I'm sure there are others in the community who would greatly appreciate your help! You always do a fantastic job! (I already squared things away for this release though just to make sure I got one!)

yeah they were a pain to deal with waiting 2 weeks for a reply to a ticket it wasn't until I got intouch with trading standards over here they gave me a direct number for them but still hours on the phone wasn't cheap lol

again I apologise for the mix up still don't know till this day how it happened I suppose having soo many across 5 platforms didn't help my odds haha I will set up a group buy now but will just try to be honest and warn all of there customer service I didn't want to throw anymore custom ubishops way but id rather swallow my pride then let fellow forum members get scalped on ebay
